In 2015, I went into business blinded-sided by excitement, fearless! Always an optimist, slightly naive, and very ambitious; I thought my future with Nut Blend and its inevitable success was mapped out. Unsurprisingly, the journey is nothing like I expected nor imagined, still. So much harder that I am not sure I would go into business knowing what I know now. Incredible highs, unbelievable lows, struggling to know the next 'right' step and only myself to rely on - which makes it even harder to not blame myself for unsuccessful outcomes - whilst at the same time trying to juggle all complexities involved.
Fortunately, the effect eating nut butter has on me is unexplainable, a feel-good energy so strong it needs to be shared with others. This is what continues to motivate me on my journey - and in light of International Women's Day, I want to celebrate all women who face challenges and work through them. The hustle, persistence, resilience; speaking up and continuing to keep going.
